About us

Biciklo was founded by David Houghton and Hannah Spence, two cyclists with nearly 100,000 kilometers of cycling tour experience. David has cycled across Canada, the United States and Africa, as well as cycling in China, Cuba, Mexico, Mongolia, the UK and the Caribbean. Hannah has cycled across Canada (twice!) as well as touring in South America, Europe and Cuba. We’d love to hear from you, so feel free to contact David or Hannah anytime.

Bicycle touring is quickly becoming one of the most popular ways to explore the globe, as travelers seek experiences that stimulate all their senses. Biciklo’s goal is to promote bicycle touring as a healthy, environmentally sustainable way to travel and explore.

What makes a cycling tour special is that it doesn’t just take you from A to B. It takes you from A to Z, with a thousand unforgettable moments in between. Moments of delight and exertion, moments of communal friendship and personal accomplishment.
